Performance & Troubleshooting Guide
Fix lag, input delay, black screens, and audio issues—then lock in stable settings for smooth waves.
Fast Fixes (2 Minutes)
- Refresh the page and wait 10–20 seconds for the iframe to load.
- Click inside the game so the iframe captures keyboard + mouse input.
- Close heavy tabs (video streaming, many social tabs, large docs).
- Try “Open Original” on the homepage if embedding is blocked.
Low FPS / Lag
Wave shooters feel impossible when FPS drops. Most lag problems are caused by system load or browser settings, not your skill.
- Close background apps (screen recorders, heavy editors, multiple browsers).
- Disable battery saver (laptops) while playing.
- Update your browser to the latest stable version.
- Try another browser (Chrome/Edge/Firefox). Some devices run WebGL better in specific browsers.
- Reduce resolution by playing in a smaller window if your device is low-end.
If your device is older, performance might vary between portals. Use “Open Original” if the embedded frame is slower.
Input Delay / Keys Not Working
If WASD or mouse clicks don’t work, it’s often because the iframe isn’t focused.
- Click inside the game frame before using controls.
- Disable aggressive extensions that modify pages (some privacy/script blockers interfere with embeds).
- Avoid playing in a background tab—browsers throttle timers in inactive tabs.
- Try fullscreen from the homepage to reduce distractions and improve focus.
Black Screen / Game Not Loading
A blank frame can happen due to network restrictions, blocked third-party content, or browser policies.
- Try “Open Original” from the homepage.
- Refresh and wait; some portals load slowly the first time.
- Disable blockers (temporarily) and retry.
- Try a different network (some school/work networks block embedded games).
No Sound
- Check if your browser tab is muted.
- Click inside the game once (some browsers require a user gesture to enable audio).
- Check in-game volume settings (if available in your version).
- Try headphones or a different output device.
Mobile Notes
Mobile performance varies widely. Touch controls and small screens can make wave survival harder.
- Desktop is recommended for the best aiming and movement control.
- If mobile feels laggy, close background apps and try a different browser.
- Consider using the Install (PWA) shortcut for a cleaner fullscreen view.
Recommended Browser Setup
Graphics
Keep hardware acceleration enabled (default in most browsers). Update GPU drivers where applicable.
Privacy
Allow embedded content for the game host if you want to play inside the frame. Otherwise, use “Open Original”.
Stability
Keep one browser profile for gaming (fewer extensions, fewer background scripts).
